DEWAYNE E. HARLEY
Dewayne, a Marine Corps veteran, has been licensed to practice law in Virginia since 2009. With 19 years of experience working in government, Dewayne has a wealth of experience in electronic surveillance, employment discrimination law, workplace investigations, mediations, and public sector civil rights law including Section 1203(b) complaints filed under the IRS Restructuring and Reform Act of 1998, Titles VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, and Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972.
Dewayne is also highly experienced in equal employment opportunity laws including, but not limited to, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973. Dewayne's experience includes providing training to managers, employees, and the public on their roles, rights, and responsibilities regarding civil rights and civil liberties laws, and executive orders. Dewayne's experiences include drafting final agency decisions for EEO investigations and public civil liberties investigations making the determination on the outcome of such investigations.
Dewayne holds a J.D. from the University of Arkansas and a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies (Information Systems) from Norfolk State University.
In his free time, Dewayne enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and watching sports.
QIANA N. WILSON
Qiana is a seasoned attorney with more than 15 years of legal experience. She has worked with educational institutions and other organizations throughout her career, navigating complex regulatory environments, mitigating risks, and promoting ethics and integrity within organizations. Her expertise spans regulatory compliance, civil rights, employment law, as well as non-profit and higher education law, including policy development, process improvement, workplace investigations, and training.
Qiana is passionate about personal and professional development, specifically supporting ethical and productive work environments. She works to assist organizations with fostering healthy employment relationships and developing cultures rooted in trust, integrity, and communication.
Qiana holds a J.D. and an LL.M. in Agricultural and Food Law from the University of Arkansas, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Eastern Michigan University. She has held leadership positions in private, non-profit, and higher education sectors, including serving as general counsel.
Qiana is licensed to practice law in Arkansas and Georgia, and is a certified mediator. She frequently presents and consults on topics of employment law and other legal areas, as well as compliance, risk management, conflict management, and leadership.
